Vulcanexus Humble Update 2.2.0

Vulcanexus releases a new Humble 2.2.0 version that comes with many new features, improvements, and bugfixes of all components. Vulcanexus, the all-in-one ROS 2 tool, is always updated to the latest versions, avoiding manual updates and extra configurations. Keep reading to find out more about all the upgraded components:

V-CORE:

Fast DDS 2.10.1:

• Secure Discovery Server. Now users can configure Security on Discovery Server deployments.
• New on_unacknowledged_sample_removed callback in DataWriterListener. This callback is useful in overloaded systems to detect any possible data loss.

DDS Router 1.2.0:

• New CI improvements included such as adding blackbox tests for repeater in WAN case.

Fast DDS Monitor 1.4.0:

• New buttons added to:
  • Dump the information from the database to a JSON file.
  • Remove inactive entities from the database.
  • Clear the statistical data of all the entities.
  • Schedule the removal of old data every x seconds.
• Support for limiting data points in dynamic data series.
