AI Robot Wresling with Webots and Vulcanexus

Have you ever heard about AI Robot Wrestling?

Vulcanexus' official partner Cyberbotics offers a never seen Humanoid Robot Wrestling Competition using their top simulation tool Webots.

Since January the cleverest minds of advanced humanoid robot programming challenge each other for qualification. The goal is to floor their virtual opponent in less than three minutes, and all shots are allowed.

These humanoid wrestlers are actual digital twins as the robot controller software used, relies on a calibrated simulation model of the NAO robot, running in the Webots simulator with realistic physics, sensor, and actuator simulation.

The controller program can be submitted in multiple versions by each participant. A series of games are played in the cloud for each new submission. From the leaderboard's website, anyone can view them right away as 3D animations.

Participation is free and open to anyone, though programming skills are needed in either Python, Rust, C++, Java, or ROS. Players can even use Vulcanexus!

The finals of this virtual competition will take place during the ICRA 2023 conference in London and will be broadcasted online in real-time. The winning team receives one Ether cryptocurrency.

Interested? Register now! Qualification ends on the 23rd of May!
